FIDF (Friends of The IDF)

Friends of the IDF is the sole organization authorized to collect charitable donations on behalf of the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces across the United States of America

Each donation to the FIDF goes DIRECTLY to those serving in the fight against terrorism, as well as providing care for our wounded soldiers and bereaved families.

    • Emergency medical supplies to save lives in the field
    • PTSD therapy to care for soldiers who have experienced unimaginable atrocities
  • Financial assistance for families living below the poverty line with a breadwinner called up to reserve duty

    • Hygiene kits to soldiers that were called to serve without a moment's notice
    • Care packages for wounded soldiers and the families of our fallen heroes

AFMDA (American Friends of Magen David Adom)

In the U.S., various organizations handle disaster relief, ambulance, and blood services, while in Israel, Magen David Adom is the sole organization responsible for these services. Despite its role being mandated by the Israeli government, MDA is not a government agency.

As the official representative to the International Red Cross, it cannot accept governmental support for general operations.

MDA depends on donors, including those from the U.S., to maintain top-notch dispatch systems, training, and equipment, ultimately saving lives every day.

  • MDA operates 24/7, responding to all incidents across the country. Since October 7, they've treated over 13,000 people, offering lifesaving treatment amidst challenges like rocket attacks and gunfire, and transporting patients via ambulances and helicopters for further care when needed.

  • MDA’s blood service devision is supplying 100% of the blood needed by the IDF and is distributing blood units to all of Israel’s hospitals, where injured civilians are being treated

  • MDA is operating at full capacity, using all available vehicles, equipment, staff, and volunteers, at an additional daily cost of between 1 and 2 million shekels – above and beyond normal operating budget.

  • In response to the crisis, MDA’s Sussman Family Foundation Human Milk Bank is increasing its supply of tested and processed breast milk tor babies whose mothers have been killed, injured, kidnapped, or called to IDF reserve duty.
